Salt Lake International Airport

The Salt Lake City Airport Redevelopment program is the first major hub airport replacement built in the 21st Century. The new airport will accommodate 26 million passengers annually and replaces the existing airport with two new linear concourses.

Skyline’s Project Scope

Skyline was awarded the Intermountain Electrical Association's "Contractor's Best Project for 2021" for building the new Central Utility Plant to provide heating and cooling to the Salt Lake City International Airports Terminal, Concourses, Parking Structure, and ancillary occupancies. The facility has two 2500kVA Pad Mounted Utility Transformers, a 1500kVA Backup Generator, three Automatic Transfer Switches, an Uninterrupted Power Supply, five large chillers, five boilers, five cooling towers, and associated hot water, chilled water and auxiliary water pumps. LED Luminaires provide lighting and low voltage controls. The parking structure is the third largest in the continental US with over 1 Million Square Feet of parking area on 5 Levels.
